It seems so ludicrously quiet here today Not even the sound of rain hitting the ground is approaching this way The teardrops and the raindrops fall in unison Uninvited are we to embrace this and see what the world has now done
But we don't notice as we're watching the sky That there's something below us wondering why We all gaze at the stars instead of the grass The green grass below is no farce
